Happy Birthday, Devin

Twenty one years ago today I was in the delivery room with my stepdaughter, Cassandra. She was about to become a mother to a special little boy. Although, she was just a child herself, she was determined to be the best mom she could be. I am very proud to say that she did a fine job in raising her son to be a man. She had help along the way...thanks Lynn for raising Devin as your own. You are one great guy. If the name Mr. Wonderful wasn't already taken, I might have to give that name to you. So, Happy Birthday, Devin. I hope you realize how much you're loved! Grandma Sue

I can't believe the last post was over a year ago. I must be the world's worst blogger. Guess this will be #1 on my New Year's Resolutions. Here's a layout I created for my November clubbers using the new Magic Scrapbook Program. It has some really cool interacting pages you can create to give your pages that extra little "magic."

October Scrapbook Club

We'll be making this fun layout featuring CTMH My Reflections Grace Level Two. The colors are Barn Red, Honey, Twilight and one of my favs, Cocoa. Stamp set featured is Grown with Love.

Baby Shower Gift

I love creating one page layouts and placing them in frames. I created this one for a friend's daughter. I used Title Topper Subtle out of the CTMH Reflections How-To book. I added a few little Pooh touches from my Cricut. She got so many cute things....I couldn't take my hands off the tiny socks with Pooh on the cuffs.

September has come and gone

I can't believe it's October already. New product launch, vacation, hubby's illness and planning for my breast cancer fundraiser on October 9th. (Bunco for Boobies) Guess that's why September just flew by. October doesn't look to be any better. I've got 3 crops in the next month...can hardly wait! I love getting together with other scrappers and stampers to see all their pretty papers. I'm hoping to put a dent in some of my stash...maybe some of them will want to swap. LOL!

Is it really July 8th?

I can't believe where June went, but I do know I had a lot of fun with the June Deal A Day promotion! I got 5 of the 6 goodie boxes and I was pleased with everything I got. My husband (aka Mr. Wonderful) got me the last goodie box for my birthday! He knows how to make me happy! It was full of great goodies...several stamp sets that I had always wanted, but never purchased...can you say SCORE!

I'll be attending a benefit crop this weekend for Cards for Soldiers and Hugs. It's titled Christmas in July and we'll be making cards to send to the soldiers that they can send back home at Christmas. I have a personal goal of 200...need to use up some of that paper I've been hoarding!
