Penny's Paper-Crafty - Challenge #100

This week's challenge at Penny's Paper-Crafty is create a project for birthdays! We have two wonderful sponsors for this challenge. For my card I used a digi image called Ice Creame Cutie from My Heart Pieces which I colored with my Copics. I added a scalloped birthday wish and button to finish it off. I popped up the image and sentiment with pop dots for dimension. All papers are CTMH. For my card I used a digi image called Emma in Leaves from Fred She Said which I colored with my Copics. I used my Art Philosophy cart and cut some leaves. This week's challenge at Penny's Paper-Crafty is create a project that has more than one fold. We have three wonderful sponsors for this challenge. For my card I used a digi image called Style 'n Becky from Eye Candie Creations. My card is 8 1/2 x 8 1/2 and I scored each side at 2 1/8 and then cut out the corners. I decided to use a belly band so I could add a sentiment. I colored Becky with my Copics. All papers and bellies are CTMH. For my card I used a sentiment from Crafty Sentiments Designs. I decided to use a clear card and got out my Cricut and my CTMH Art Philosphy cart. I also used the Designer Calendar card for the word "anniversary." All papers and bellies are CTMH. I can hardly wait to get my hands on the new CTMH exclusive cart Artiste available on August 1st. I'm not sure how Close To My Heart does it, but this one is even better than the first. Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge #85 Sketch

Our first weekly challenge at Penny's Paper-Crafty is a sketch. We also are lucky enough to have three wonderful sponsors. That's right, one lucky random person will win a $10 gift certificate from Stitchy Bear, one lucky random person will win 7 digis of their choice from The Digi Garden and one random person will win a $5 voucher from Digital Delights to use in their store.

For my card, I used this cute little image and colored her my Copics. I triple mounted her on cardstock which I sponged with Chocolate ink. I used B&T paper also sponged for the background and stripe. Added 3 flowers with pearl centers and sat back to enjoy. All papers and bellies are CTMH. Penny's Paper-Crafty Blog Hop

WOW! It feels like forever since I've posted. I was under the weather for a bit, but I've got my mojo back and I'm ready to craft. This blog hop is to promote the new WEEKLY challenges over at Penny's. If you arrived here from Melanie's Creative World, you're in the right place.

My card features an image called Kurtis the Graduate from Dudetime Doodles. I colored the image with my Copics and triple mounted on Vineyard Berry and Desert Sand cardstock. I stamped the sentiment and stars with Vineyard Berry on Desert Sand added some wooden buttons and called it good. All papers and bellies are CTMH.

Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge #77

For the challenge this time at Penny's Paper-Crafty we want to see "Anything BUT a Card." This time we have two wonderful sponsors. I was originally going to make a recipe card holder and then remembered I had all the

The challenge this time at Penny's Paper-Crafty is a Photo Inspiration!! So, dig out your stash and show us what you've got. We are once again lucky enough to have two wonderful sponsors. I was a little concerned about how to make this little cutie look funky like the photo. Then I remembered one of my favorite distressing techniques. I colored Lenny with my Copics and then used reinker and a glue brush to distress all the papers. All papers and embellishments are CTMH.

Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge #73

The challenge this time at Penny' Paper-Crafty is "Anything Goes" and our sponsor is Stitchy Bear Digital Stamps. One lucky random person will win a $10 US Gift Certificate from Stitchy Bear Digital Stamps store towards any digital stamps from Stitchy Stamps, Floppy Latte Designs and/or Gingerloft. I used Cattail Pond from Gingerloft. I decided to try something a little different this time and colored my image with watercolor pencils. Then I blended them with a water brush to get a watercolor effect. I used some of the fabulous new CTMH papers from Victory Level 2 paper pack. I sponged all papers with Cocoa Ink. I also added 3 Durable Studs from CTMH (self adhesive).
