Challenge #74 is Ornament or Home Decor - we would love for you to create an ornament or something festive for your home. I know we don't all celebrate Christmas so I would love to see some projects that reflect your beliefs. I decided to go with a home decor item and I think it just might make it's way to my office. All products are CTMH and once again I used my Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge. I used the My Creations Banner which comes with 8 white chipboard pennants and 7 jump rings to hook them together. Since I only used three I can make another banner that says PEACE. Can you say score!! I covered the banners with B&T paper and then used the scallop shape on page 66. I cut each letter at 4" four times and glued them together to add some dimension. I did play around with using a snowflake as the letter O, but went with the letter this time. Everything is sponged with Cocoa ink. I popped up the letters with some foam squares and added some bling from my stash. I used two kinds of ribbon to give it extra bam and added some mini red bling to the brads. Hope you enjoy. Make sure you stop back in a week to see what I've created next. I bought a pink "Charlie Brown" tree at Hobby Lobby and am planning to make it a breast cancer pink ribbon tree!
So jump on over to My Sheri Crafts Challenge Blog to check out what the Design Team has created and submit your project. You could be our next guest designer!
