My Sheri Crafts - Challenge #94
Well, I'm sure some of you are glad that school has started and maybe you have
some time to craft again?! The challenge at My Sheri Crafts this time is pretty easy so you can get back in
the swing of things! All you need to do is create
a family-themed project or a card for a family member. I have created a display tray for our United Way auction at work. I used it for a practice for a couple of other ideas I have for trays. I've got a few special pictures of my dad that I think would look fabulous in a tray. I used an old CTMH paper pack that was one of my favs and my Cricut Art Philosophy to make the tree, frame, stockings and flower. I used Design Calendar for the word Christmas. All bellies and papers are CTMH. Now get out that paper and bellies and let's see what you can create. Make sure you go check out what my fellow DT members have made this week. My Sheri Crafts - Challenge #93
Labor Day is upon us and as you know it is also the last day to wear white so the challenge at My Sheri Crafts this time is create a card or project that is "white on white." I must say this was a tad difficult for me since I'm typically a very colorful person. I just received my CTMH Cricut Artiste cart so I thought I'd see what I could come up. I found this cute 3D box and thought what a cute idea for a wedding favor. So I cut the box, the design for the top, the flower and Mr & Mrs all from textured white cardstock. I used a little white pearlized Smooch on all elements except the box itself. I added some cute pins I had in my stash and thought it looked pretty good for being all white. I know if I can do so can you so jump on over to My Sheri Crafts and check out what the Design Team has created and submit your project. You could be our next guest designer! My Sheri Crafts - Challenge #91
The challenge at My Sheri Crafts this time is going to be fun! It's called back and forth. What exactly does that mean? We want you to have an accordion or fan fold as one of the elements on your project. It can be simply a strip, rosette, fan or whatever you can imagine! I decided to go with a fan and used paper from the brand spankin' new La Belle Vie paper pack from CTMH. I cut a 2 1/2 strip the full length of the paper and then used my Martha Stewart edge punch on the edge. I then used my Martha Stewart scoring board and scored every third space (can you tell I like her products?). I then punched a hole on the bottom and ran a piece of waxy flax thru to make it stay open like a fan. I added a couple of photo clips with opaque gems. I gathered some black webbing (thank you Darla) and added to my card with some pearls. All papers are CTMH. So get our those scoring boards and show us what you got! Jump on over to My Sheri Crafts. Check out what the Design Team has created and submit your project. You could be our next guest designer! My Sheri CRAFTS - Challenge #83 Monograms
Wow! All those fabulous birthday projects were great and I have some great ideas for upcoming birthdays. The challenge this time at My Sheri Crafts is all about monograms and we would love to see how you incorporate those into your projects. I decided to do something a little different and make a picture frame out of an acrylic card. I used my Art Philosphy cart and cut the frames at 4" and 3 3/4". I also had some hearts left over from a previous project so I added a little bling and attached to the frame edge. My momogram is computer generated using word and the font is parchment at 200 that I printed on design paper. I also added a little bling to the monogram. The papers are from Roxy Level 2. All papers and bellies are CTMH. Hope you enjoy this idea. So jump on over to My Sheri Crafts and check out what the Design Team has created and submit your project. Thank you to all of our avid challenge participants for taking time to join us week after week!!! I used a CTMH My Creations Mini Banner, Lucy Level 2 paper pack, colonial white crocheted ribbon and some Just Bloom Paper Shapes and of course, some bling. I cut the banners and the toppers with my Art Philosphy Cricut cart at 4 inches and then glued on with Mod Podge. 2nd Liebster Award
Wow! Two Liebster awards in one week. Julie over at Julies Crafty Creations nominated me for the Liebster Award. Thanks, Julie! It would be worth your time to hop on over to her blog and check out her creations.
Liebster means "favourite" in German, and the award is given by peers to fellow bloggers who have been able to inspire despite their small following. Once accepted, an award recipient must "pay it forward" by completing the following steps:
1. Post the award to your blog.
2. Link back to the person's blog who gave it to you and thank them.

My Sheri CRAFTS - Challenge #81 Spring Pastels
According to the calendar Spring won't be here until next month. I don't know where you live, but here in Missouri we've had 80 degree weather all week. It was really easy to come up with a card for this challenge. We would love for you to create an Easter card or project using the gorgeous pastel colors of Spring!
Now, I have a bit of trouble using pastel colors so I tried several different color combinations on my card before I was happy. I also used several different embossing folders, but it was easy for me to pick the image I wanted to use. I just love this image from The Stamping Boutique "Boy Rabbit in Egg." I colored the image with my Copics and then triple mounted. I think adding the black helped. I used some white baker's twine and colored it with the same markers I used on my image and added a little bling. All papers and bellies are CTMH. Hope you enjoy this little cutie. So jump on over to My Sheri Crafts and check out what the Design Team has created and submit your project. You could be our next guest designer! The DT loves to give love to all our participants, so please help us by turning off word verification.

Here are five blogs that I feel deserve to receive the Liebster Award:
Christy at Christy's Zaney Creations. Not only does this girl know how to use her Copics, she is has a knack for putting it all together! She is an inspiration in so many ways.
Marge at MaricopaStamper. Marge not only makes fabulous cards, but she makes some pretty awesome jewelry as well.

Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge #75 and DT Call
The challenge this time at Penny's Paper-Crafty is a Recipe - 3 buttons, 2 DP, and 1 ribbon. We are once again lucky enough to have two wonderful sponsors. One lucky random person will win 3 digis of their choice from Some Odd Girl and another will win 5 digital stamps from Robyn's Fetish. I used Robyn's Cross and Flowers and colored with my Copics. I used some button brads for centers of my flowers and added a touch of ribbon. All papers and embellishments are CTMH.
Now head on over to get some inspiration from my fellow DT members and make sure to give them some "love" while you're there. AND if you're looking for a fun gig, we're holding a DT call with this challenge. This is a very well run DT and I really enjoy being part of this fabulous team. Happy crafting!!
